![]() Signal has one an app on linux - Electron!Įven Microsoft tries to bribe me to use Teams with an Linux-electron-App?! What happend?! 2020 January! - THE CEO says in "Yes!" there will be a linux client…īut wait its 2021/03! - Where is the client? Can one find a note about it on any official statement? The wine installation is on some linux-clients working. ![]() ![]() Then this was crippled to 2 devices for free users. The installation with wine was a alternating nightmare combinedīut I could use the notes with multiple devices and some times i could still recognize the lovely product it could be. Since the "modernized" version with "cloud" : I am using Evernote since early 2000-something. Now that I know there is something already there I stop that and just keep waiting would be very appreciated to also get an invite! I can advertise myself as a full stack developer, so maybe that is a good reason to have a beta tester who knows how to analyse and give good feedbackīut I think that a lot Linux users are at least technical advanced, so maybe I don't stand that much out in this community (too bad for me, very good for you!)Īnyway let us know, we would all be glad to help! And to get some sexy software soon □ Thanks a lot sharing your experiences, that let us hope! I was struggeling to somehow make the Windows client work with Wine or something the last days, but did not want to trash my machine with all that. Here's hoping you all get brought into the party sooner than later. This beta does everything I need it to so far. I've never been a very advanced Evernote user. But I can drag and drop, batch manage notes, open notes in a new window, etc. Compared to that old version I used to use (can't remember the V number,) this Beta for Linux seems super slim. I just preferred the old client to the new, streamlined versions. Before that, I'd been using a very old version of Evernote on a Windows machine. I'd been using the web version for a year and suffering its limitations. ![]() Wish I could somehow pass the invite along to you long suffering souls, but I'm not sure how the hell that work. ![]() Nick, one of the administrators (I think) sent me an invite and bam! There it was. "So did I get it right, you have the official Evernote Linux beta client? Sexy! Tell us, how is it? Share your bless with us, so we can keep up our mood down here in the waiting hall." ![]()
